Insulation Removal & Replacement
Depending on the quality of your existing insulation, our specialists are qualified to remove and clean out old insulation.
This service is not necessary in all homes, but is suggested for existing insulation that contains the following:
Live or dead rodents and all carcasses.
Contaminated or damaged insulation.
Any other miscellaneous debris.
REPLACEMENT
Once all insulation is removed, we will air seal the attic space and replace with new insulation. The combination of air sealing and insulation will provide the greatest impact for weatherizing your home.
Streamline follows the recommendations of The Department of Energy for adding insulation to an attic space. We will add up to an R-60 in our markets to ensure the maximum amount of efficiency for the homeowner.

The U.S. Department of Energy recommends homeowners have a certain depth of blown-in insulation in their attics. The amount recommended varies by climate zones. If your attic insulation depth is below the recommended level, contact our home insulation experts.
